Our Services
Free 15-Minute Consultation
Not sure where to start? Start here.
Meet with our owner Katie Gray M.S., CCC-SLP for a free 15-minute phone consultation. There’s absolutely no pressure and no obligation - just a conversation designed to give you clarity.
-
Tell us what you’re noticing, ask questions, and learn whether an evaluation, screening, speech therapy, or another type referral may be the best next step.
Communication Screenings
Sometimes you need more information before deciding whether a full evaluation is necessary. After the screening, we’ll explain what we observed and recommend appropriate next steps.
You’ll leave knowing whether to monitor, seek a full evaluation, or move forward with additional support.
-
A screening provides a brief look at your child’s communication skills and can help describe areas that may benefit from a full communication assessment.
A screening may be helpful if you are wondering about your child’s:
Speech clarity
Language development
Social communication
Fluency or stuttering
Overall communication development
After the screening, we’ll explain what we observed and recommend appropriate next steps.
Comprehensive Communication Evaluations
An evaluation should do more than produce a score. Our comprehensive evaluations help us understand how your child communicates across everyday environments, including their strengths, needs, communication style, at home, school, and in the community.
You won’t just receive a report. You’ll leave with a clear plan of what to do next.
-
Depending on your child’s needs, an evaluation may include:
Parent or caregiver interview
Review of previous evaluations and school documents
Formal and informal assessment
Language sampling
Play or activity-based observation
Assessment of functional communication
Individualized recommendations
After the evaluation, we meet with you to explain the results in clear, understandable language and develop recommendations that make sense for your child and family.
Speech Therapy
Communication therapy should be meaningful - not one-size-fits-all. Our speech-language pathologists build therapy around your child’s strengths, interests, communication style, and everyday needs.
The goal is not simply to practice a skill in therapy. The goal is to help your child use communication where it matters.
-
We provide support for children with:
Articulation and speech sound differences
Phonological disorders
Language delays and language disorders
Stuttering and Cluttering
Autism and Gestalt Language Processing
Social communication differences
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
Communication related to learning and school participation
Parent coaching and caregiver education
We use neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based care that respects different ways of thinking, learning, and communicating.
And because our clinicians are school-informed providers, we consider more than what happens during a therapy session. We think about how communication affects classroom participation, friendships, independence, family life, and everyday experiences.
IEP/Family Support Services
Helping You Connect the Pieces. School services and private therapy can sometimes feel like separate worlds. They don’t have to. Our school-informed clinicians help families better understand their child’s communication needs and the services and supports available to them.
Our role is to help you feel more confident participating in decisions about your child.
-
Support may include:
IEP document review
FIE Evaluation review and interpretation
Parent preparation for school meetings
